Due to the current COVID-19 situation placing restrictions on large gatherings, the Lamont & District Agricultural Society has decided to postpone the 33rd Annual Summer Sizzler Rodeo to July 2021.
This annual event has become a community favourite, and we are extremely heartbroken that we are not able to host the Sizzler this year. Our priority is the health and safety of our community, therefore we can not in good faith host this event while following AHS guidelines for social distancing.
We also realize that our community supporters are experiencing difficulties, including patrons and sponsors. As we are a non-profit community focused group, we have to be fiscally responsible to our community which includes our members, the general public and our sponsors. We appreciate all the support we have received so far, and are committed to continue to fulfill all sponsorship agreements as best we can.
We hope to see you all in 2021!
